Last Minute Cake Order

Have you ever had to organise a last minute party or celebration? Perhaps forgotten to order the cake? Are you budget conscious. Don't worry, I can help! Our Last Minute Cake Orders require a minimum 3 days to order and are limited to the flavours listed below. Each one is freshly baked and finished in a swiss meringue buttercream. Prices start from $150 depending on size, final flavour chosen and added extras. A quote will be sent within 12 hours of receiving the form and confirmation is required asap to proceed. 

If you prefer a Custom Made cake and have a bit more time up your sleeve, be sure to request a Custom Cake Order Form quote.

Details:

Cake Sizes

  • Small  6" round (extended height of 5-6") - serves up to 25-30 coffee portions

  • Medium 8" round (extended height of 5-6") - serves up to 45-50 coffee portions

  • 2 tier standard - serves up to 80-85

  • Suggested number of servings is based on coffee sized portions (1" x 1" x 4")

 

Cake Design, Care and Transportation 

  • Cakes are layered and decorated in swiss meringue buttercream only unless specific options are chosen (flowers, macarons etc). All cakes are finished on a cake board. All cakes are packaged in a cake box and are placed on a cake board usually 2-3" larger than the diameter of the cake 

  • During transportation, please keep cake as cool as possible and on a flat surface (boot or the floor of the car works well, we use non-slip matting to prevent movement)

  • Cakes styled with fresh or edible flowers are best eaten within 24 hours of pick up, as the flowers have the tendency to wilt after this time

  • Keep your cake refrigerated and bring to room temperature an hour before serving

  • Ganache and buttercream tends to stick to the knife when cutting your cake, making it difficult to get nice clean slices. To achieve clean cuts (and maximum number of serves), use a sharp (not serrated) knife, dipped in hot water and wiped dry before each cut!
